We are going to print!!!
Damsel #1 is finalized for print production! Things are moving along to keep on schedule to ship ahead of NYCC. We should have the books in hand within two weeks, and I'll start shipping the moment they're here.

The first lettering proof came in today! I'm so excited, you guys!!!
There are some edits that need to be made, but we are nearly ready to go to print. We'll have the final production files ready to go to print next week!!

You guys.. I am so fucking proud of this book. Emiliano, Gaston, and my partner, Lucas (who did the lettering BTW!!) have done such an incredible job on this issue. The reactions I've gotten so far have been extremely positive, and we are so excited to hear your thoughts.

I've got a handful of things in the works including TCM Press launching at NYCC, but Damsel #2 is preparing to start production. It's looking like we'll be able to bring the next issue to you guys much quicker!! I have five issues plotted out, but that could stretch to six if there's enough fan support. No matter what, we will keep on doing what we love most: making awesome comics for awesome people. --Murphey

Hey guys! Murphey here with a quick update!
We have been chugging along on Damsel #1 production throughout the months since the campaign ended. Emiliano has been juggling this with a few projects he's drawing for Valiant, including Archer & Armstrong: Assassin Nation #1: National Treasured Team, which hits stores in a few weeks!
The issue is about 75% complete, and the ink will be done within the next two weeks. Gaston is following closely behind on the color, but it looks like we won't be ready to go to print until next month. I'll be at NYCC this year with a new publishing company, so my hope is to have this shipped before then!! I would love to be able to talk to y'all about the issue at the con :) As we draw nearer to the end, I'll give you guys more frequent updates as they are available.
Issue #2 has officially begun script production, so Emiliano will be starting on the next book as soon as this one wraps! For now, here's a peak at some of the new pages...
I'll be at Chicago Fan Expo next weekend!!
This will be my second ever convention appearance with my own booth, but it'll be shared with Dolan and Unholy Nightmare! We have an awesome connecting exclusive preview set by the amazing Marissa Pope with colors by Ezequiel Dominguez for the show. Sorry for being behind on getting these out to you guys. I just sent out the smoke test which sends surveys to 5% of backers to catch any mistakes I may have missed. Everyone else will get their surveys tomorrow! If you have an apple id or .me email address, send me a message to update your account as those won't work with Backerkit.

Happy Friday, everyone!!
I am wrapping up the Backerkit surveys today, so they'll start sending out next week. Cards won't be charged until the book is completed and ready for print in about two months. Emiliano just finished up the project he was working on, so the issue is now in full production!! I'll keep you updated with new pages as they start to come in.
